So on the geek bench 4 app I often after a update check the scores, I tried googling the meaning of those terms but can’t really understand what they mean. Can someone please explain what single core and multi core exactly do ?

As far as I know, it’s just a number to associate with how fast the processors are running. At this point, geekbench scores don’t really mean a lot since all chips run about the same, and even the difference between the A11 Bionic and Snapdragon 835 chips equates to a few milliseconds difference in processes.
