Is the physical nano SIM in the 12 the same as in the 11 and prior? Ordered an upgrade for one line but want to use the new phone on a different line. As easy as switching SIMs, correct? I hate calling and having them reassign numbers to SIMs.

Thanks!

Sims are the same size and are interchangeable, but in order to get 5g you’ll need the new sim at least on AT&T, also you’ll need a new cellular plan.

To get proper 5G if you are with T-Mobile, you need to switch to the 5G SIM card. The old one will still work but T-Mobile says to get the new sim.
