I’ve had several SG iPhones in the last few years so I decided to get a silver 11 Pro Max this year. I’ve been rocking my SG XS Max caseless for about 6 months and the metal still looks brand new. Will the silver metal hold up as well as the SG.

No, it won’t, but the upside is that all scratches are buffable on the silver while not on the SG

Yeah, I've been rocking the SG for several years as well, but this time I decided to go with the Midnight Green. When I looked at the Silver it was kinda plain and wasn't for me. Enjoy your new color choice and I wouldn't worry about scratches, you're probably going to upgrade next year anyway. Thats what Techies do....LOL

If the silver gets microscratches that can be seen in bright light I probably won’t care. Kinda like on my screen. The scratches you see in sunlight only don’t bother me.

That’s exactly how it is for my phone and Apple Watch. Every so often I’ll just buff it out. That’s the beauty of silver/stainless steel.

SG4L!!!!!

But, as a photographer, all my iPhones have been in Quadlock cases so it really doesn't matter what color I have.
