Side button occasionally won’t work?

So I’ve been using the X for a week and it’s great, but there is one bug that really annoys me:
After leaving the phone for a while, when i try to wake the phone using the Side Button, nothing happens, mostly when phone is laying on a surface. Only until i press the button for the second time the screen will wake, and after using it for a while the button works great to wake or to sleep, until i rest my phone again for a while and the issue seems to come back
The problem does not exit when i try to lock the phone.
Anyone else got that issue that pressing the side button won’t react?

I’ve been using my X for over a month and have not run into any issues with the side button.

Same here. No such problems with my iPhone X and I’ve basically had it since launch.

No issues with my side button too. Hope it lasts the life of the phone at least.

Never had the issue but as a work around, It’s easier to tap the screen twice to wake it up.

Agree, and I remembered my 5s power button becoming stiff after some time and have to depress hard in order to use.

Mine will occasionally not LOCK the phone and I'll pick it out of my pocket an hour later to find I had taken a picture or something in my pocket, drives me batty.

Haven’t had any issues at all with the side button.

Never had the issue but as a work around, It’s easier to tap the screen twice to wake it up.

You only have to tap the screen once.

Also this setting needs to be enabled under Accessibility or it won’t work.
