Well my replacement iphone is out for delivery right now...so I'm happy that it will be here today since I've had to look at a cracked screen for the past 2 days (all my fault)!!

My question is - should I restore the phone to get rid of all of my applications, etc before sending it back to Asurion?

What would you do?

Sync it to iTunes so that you can restore the replacement. Then restore as new on the one you're returning so that there's no trace left of you.

Yeah I would back it up with iTunes and then when you get your new one, plug it into iTunes and restore it with that back up. Then do a complete restore of the old one before sending it back.
