So I have a new iPhone 6s Plus on Verizon and I love it. My only issue is I can't set up hey Siri. When I go to set it up, it doesn't hear me. Siri itself seems to work ok though. I already tried factory restoring (5 times as a matter of fact) and it's still not fixed. I do have a appointment at the apple store for Tuesday, but I'm wondering if this is a known issue or not. Also, does restoring the phone that often in a row damage the device? Thanks

It shouldn't damage it if it hasn't been damaged in the first place, chances are you'd be getting a replacement. Let us know how you go on Tuesday :)

Might it be worth taking back to Verizon? They may charge a restocking fee though. If that's the case, I'll just keep my apple genius appointment. I'm also having some blutooth issues and it connecting with some of my devices.

Huh, now the hey Siri set up is working. Very weird. I still would like apple to look at the device though. If I don't get it swapped out for a new one, would doing the 3 factory resets in a row that I did potential damage the phone?

So I contacted Verizon and they said I can swap it for no restock fee. So we'll see how that goes. I'll just explain to them that the blutooth isn't working right and I was having issues with Siri.

So I swapped out the phone at Verizon and now it's great. Man I love this phone. Gonna go buy AppleCare today to protect my precious, ha ha
