Setting Reminders

Hi,

I have asked Siri to remind me to do some things, but it always says there isn't an app please download one. Everything I have found says to setup Reminders in iOS, and even though I have followed the steps I still cannot set a reminder.

I have also downloaded ToDoist but still I get the no app for that.

Being new to iOS I may (and probably am) missing something.

Thanks for any help.

Please disregard, I hadn't downloaded the Reminder app, I thought that was part of the iOS.

It is, but several of the iOS apps can be downloaded and deleted. That hasn't always been the case. I'm surprised the Reminders app was not already on screen by default.

I have just deleted the reminders app, it took up a lot of space for something I never use !

I have a small handful of reminders in my Reminders app. Meds, bill paying, etc. It takes up 8.8 mb of space. How is that "a lot"? What do you use for reminders?
