Sent SMS Sound Not Functioning Properly

I've noticed occasionally that the sent tone when sending an SMS or iMessage sounds weird. It's like it doesn't fully make the sound. Has anyone else noticed this? I don't remember my 6 Plus ever doing this. I rebooted and it sounded fine for a little bit then it started back up again. It seems to be intermittent, too.
