Sending a text message the pop-up words no longer show

Swipe up on the little bar at the top of the keyboard.

If that doesn't work tap on the globe on the left side of the keyboard and enable"predictive".

Long press the globe. A toggle should be there.

BTW...if you don't have any third party keyboards, there will be a smiley face instead of a globe
