Screentime not matching across devices- seeing different total times on each

Is anyone else noticing issues with screen-time where it is not matching up perfectly across devices. For example on the iPad I see 2h but Iphone I see 2 h5m etc and it seems to stay like this any idea why. I have the share across devices option turned on too.

Wouldn't screen time be device specific, showing the screen time of that device? Or do I misunderstand you?

there should be a combined screentime on each so in other words it should match up (there is a switch for iCloud )
