Screen won't go to sleep

On my iPhone 8, the screen often doesn't turn off, it just stays on. I restored from my iPhone 6S, which worked properly. But Yes, I did verify the settings are right (Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock = 1Minute).

I thought maybe it had something to do with Raise to Wake, like maybe movement in my hand/pocket was keeping it awake. But it happens even when it's laying undisturbed on my desk.

Thoughts?

So what you are saying is that your iPhone takes longer than a minute to turn off or doesn't turn off altogether?

Sounds odd, have you tried the classical turn your iPhone off/on or do a soft reset.

If nothing helps, I guess you would need to try restoring from scratch, and if the problem persists you should take it to the Apple Store.

Hope your issue is solved.
