Scanners compatible with USB-C?

My old Canoscan 9000-F works perfectly well with Sierra on old iMac or MacBook with USB-2 connector but not with new MacBook Pro. Canon's website is not helpful.

Welcome to iMore! Good question. Have you thought about using a wifi-compatible scanner? I have a Canon multifunction printer that does a great job over wifi.
