saving pictures or taking pictures with my I phone?

my I phone will not let me take pictures, I only have 1 Video and 287 pictures, if I want to take more I need to delete How can I fix this problem, I use to be able to have at least 8 pictures not its not letting me do it?

You will need to delete some stuff.

Go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage (under Storage not iCloud) > and then you can see how much available storage space you have and if you scroll down, you can see what is taking up storage space.

Delete as needed to free up space.
