LOL! That’s just embarrassing.
Samsung has tried mighty hard to be the Android equivalent to Apple. Phones, watches, tablets - keep abreast of what Apple does then mimic. They can’t be knocked for it, the most successful always gets copied. But Samsung has three barriers that keeps it an also ran: 1 they use the Android OS (Apple has the proprietary OS). 2 they use off the shelf hardware (Apple builds their SOCs precise to the proprietary OS). 3 corporate culture cannot avoid being affected when it is focusing on too many things and markets (Apple corporate culture focuses on a very narrow range of products and therefore markets).

Unless there is a fairly big change in the market (approaching the way the intro of the IPhone changed the phone market), Samsung is in a position that’ll continue to get squeezed. From Apple to the Chinese mfgs to Google itself, they’ll continue to spend more to sell nearly the same amount. In business that is a brutal position to be in for too long.
