safari not playing nicely with web sites

Using iPad Safari browser seems to send some flakey syntax to servers.
It seems to be related to forms processing.
Examples: 1) On access email on a server (SquirrelMail), on some log-in attempts,
the server reports "bad syntax after :". 2) When logged in, if I click on
a few e-mails in a folder and then click "delete", I get logged out of e-mail
with and a message "invalid login". Repeatable every time.

I'm having an issue with AT&T Remote Monitoring. It works fine on my iPhone but not on the iPad.
