Safari cookie setting

iMore Question

I notice Safari is set to "Allow from websites I visit" by default. How does that compare to Chrome's block third party cookies option. Because I also notice another option in Safari saying allow only from current website.

Is that similar to the chrome setting and is the websites I visit setting a feature you can only find on the Safari browser? What are the advantages of using that compared to Chrome with third party cookies enabled?

Basically, they both serve the same purpose - limit certain website activity. Therefore, either browser should be sufficient, but is based on your preference to which one you prefer to use.
