Running out of Space

Once you run out of space on your MacBook, what do you use for storage. I am looking for a storage option where I would be able to see files on my MacBook without connecting to it with a cable.

I guess one option is the Airport Time Capsule, any one use that? How is it? Any other options?

I use a TimeCapsule for backups and attached an external HD to that for extra storage.

I use a Nifty MiniDrive with an SD card of 128GB.
