Firstly as stated in another thread not that many are actually protesting. Secondly they already started assembling pro models in India.

“iPhone availability will remain poor” is a sound bite but not f substance. It is just like saying “workers protesting” without mentioning how many (nod to FFR for already pointing this out). Over 100,000 workers so 100,000 are “rioting” or just 25?
Lastly, the ETA for a pro max was down to Dec 22 only several days ago. Right now ETA is Dec. 28 for Pro and Pro Max. The 13 Pro Max at this time last year was about 11 days. 14 Pro Max 22 days. Definitely “poorer” availability and definitely caused by the local covid zero policy (caused by rioting is made up) but we know the Pro models this year are getting the selling attention and it would be expected to be a modest amount above 13 Pro Max last year.
