Ring volume drops

I’ve had my X for about two weeks now since moving on from a 7 Plus.

Loving it so far and had no issues with it.

Except one, but I don’t know if it’s a bug or a feature.

This isn’t the answer delay issue people are reporting where the screen stays dark.

When my phone rings, screen lights up like it should, but after say a couple of seconds the ring volume drops down to a much lower volume level. It’s still audible.

Not sure if it’s because I’ve picked up the phone so it’s recognising it’s got my attention or it’s just a bug.

The iPhone X knows when you’re looking at the device and lowers the volume. Normal functionality and nothing to worry about!
