Well I'm Begining to Like It More

I have had three BB the last one was the 9530 which was getting old.

The Iphone.. It's a nice feeling phone and calls are always good on verizon.

What I don't like and miss very much is my berry buzz and the capability to customize..:( Berry Buzz is the biggy for me not having a led light. Strange also having only one button , it was much easier to go back and forth on the BB. The battery life is good but so was the 9530. I was thinking about bringing it back and getting the Thunderbolt next week which sounds and looks like an awesome phone, but I will probaly wait for the LTE version of the Iphone at this time.

BB convert

I've had BB's as the only smartphone I've owned. Made the switch from the 9650 Bold to my new iphone 4. While I miss the push, the iphone is hands down the coolest thing I've owned. Now I know what all the hype was about.

Hi I'm Genna DeLeon from Tech News on GDTV on youtube.com its a new segment on my channel as I am a technology buff I am interested in getting peoples opinions on the new Verizon iPhone. In recent news the iPhone has not been selling as many copies as expected so my questions to you are

1. Are you happy with your iPhone on verizon even with its lack of features that you can get on AT&T

2. Was it worth the purchase or do you think you should have waited for the update?

Yes I'm happy I would trade surfing and data at the same for the call quality that Verizon delivers.

Yes the purchase was worh it, my BB was getting old, though I stated above I miss a few things that the BB has and the Iphone does not. The Iphone is a good phone I just need to get over that learning curve after having a BB for the past six years. Waiting no..If the Iphone 5 comes out on it's regularly scheduled time I would consider it.

Yes...like Dixie said, I'd rather have great reception than same time surfing/data.

Totally worth it! I had a total of 4 HTC phones that I went thru because of issues (3 Eris & 1 Incredible), and the iPhone blows them out of the water! It doesn't freeze or randomly reset itself, no dropped calls, and I had ton of apps from my iPod Touch that I could put on my phone that I liked better than the comparable Android apps.

I prefer VZW over AT&T so yeah, I'm happy. I don't need talk & browse at the same time.

It was worth it.. I still have an upgrade on my account (different line) so I can upgrade to iPhone 5 if I want! :)

Coming from Palm Pre. I love battery life! One of the first things I noticed. Still trying to get used to virtual keyboard. Getting better.

I didn't come from AT&T, so I'm not really missing the data/talk feature, I've never had it. It would have been nice, but it wasn't a deal breaker.

It was worth it. My Droid Eris was dying and I needed to upgrade now. The iPhone 5 will be great, but I'm not convinced its going to be a giant leap from the iPhone 4. It'll probably have the A5 chip, a larger screen, and a few more megapixels on the camera. I don't think we'll see 4G until the iPhone 6. Plus if I waited until the summer I would have had to up my contract with a tiered data plan. Getting the iPhone 4 now means another two years of unlimited data. So no buyers remorse for me, and I don't think I'll have any come June either.

1st: I love this phone. Apples emphasis on user experience has been highly underestimated by myself.

However theres def a reason why this phone had been delayed a release for 2.5 years.

1. Whenever I sync this thing to my car, the sound will be gone forever if I put it on mute, until I reset of course.

2. I guess it goes without saying: CDMA phone batteries dont last long at all. I've never gone a day without this battery being in the red.

3. updates: this thing will always beslow on updates since the CDMA architecture (apparently) complicates everything. wheres 4.3???

Every other defect/complaint/bug is still existant in every other iphone so I wont bother going there. Otherwise, HOLY CRAP THIS THING IS AWESOME!
...its like if crack were in "phone" form @_@

Love it... BUT....

Ok, been a huge Apple fan for a while. I own an original and an iPad 2, just got the latest MBP 15 and of course the ipods. Well, just got the new iPhone and have one issue. I hate the damn email notification bubble. Is there any way to turn that off. I have tons of emails and don't need to knowhow many I have popping up on my homescreen.

I'd appreciate any help.:)

Love it a lot!!! Couldn't believe that I contemplated buying the Thunderbolt instead of the iPhone4. What I tell everyone is that it just simply works like you would expect it to. My Storm2 used to get locked up all the time so it was really frustrating at times to even make or answer a call. We buy phones to have a phone that works on us all the other stuff is extras, but if the extras cause the basic phone function to work, what good is the phone. Thanks Apple for making a quality product to set the standard that the other manufacturers should learn from!

Lovin my iphone.

This is my first smart phone and i love it. there a few things that I don't like about it though, it could use a sim card and having to use itunes is a big pain.
I am a Verizon customer so I pre-ordered mine and received 4 days later.

I love there is no lag whatsoever. I came from a BB Bold 9650 running on OS 6. It would take 2 mins to boot up then another 3 mins after it came on before I could use the device.

I finally did it!!!!!!!!!! Came over to the iPhone4 on Verizon from BB Tour. I can honestly say I've never been happier. The only criticism I have is that I cant seem to put the phone down since I've gotten it.

iPhone 4

Love my iPhone 4. I knew it was far superior to the BB Storm but like most people didnt want to leave the Verizon network for AT&T so I stuck it out with the Storm. When my contract was up and I was due to upgrade (the day Verizon announced they would sell the iPhone) I couldnt wait to get the iPhone and got my name on the pre-sale list. Well the iPhone is everything I thought it would be. Smooth, responsive, easy to use, apps galore, "sexy"...what can I say I love it! :D

Well I decided to switch from AT&T and go back to Verizon with the iPhone 4. If Apple releases a new version in June/July then my wife will inherit this one. I ultimately wanted to get back to Verizon and I might as well while Verizon is still offering the unlimited data plan. Even though I was grandfathered in with AT&T, I would have to give up that plan to tether but won't have to with Verizon. Plus I'm thinking the unlimited will continue with LTE in the future?

Anyway on to my review, coming from AT&T it's really just about the same phone. In the few days I've had it I'm really surprised on how many people know that I got a new phone because of how much better the voice quality is. The speeds are slower but for the things I do the most (stream audio, twitter, email, web browse) I don't notice a difference. The speed test apps say I'm around 1Mbps slower but when I download apps I really notice it's slower (guess that's why God invented WiFi)

The simultaneous voice and data can be fixed by getting the MiFI LTE router from Verizon. That way I've have a LTE iPhone that can talk and surf at the same time on Verizon FTW!!!!! ;)

Another solution for voice/data? Skype. If you are only calling toll free? No charge. Otherwise, $2.99 a month.
