Retrieving a video that was edited

Please help..... We took a video with our iPad of our friends wedding. We edited it into two parts and thought we saved the original. Evidently when we edited, it edited the other copies as well so now instead of a 22 min video we only have five min. Is there any way to get it back?

I doubt it. What app did you use to edit the videos? Locate the native "Videos" app and see if they appear there.
