Restoring is getting interrupted?

I just upodated my Ipod touch 2g to 4.0.2 firmware and when it attempts to restore everything back on my Ipod a message comes up when it's done saying "Itunes was interrupted while restoring the contents of this Ipod. Would you like to restore this Ipod again now?" Then there are 3 buttons
1."Cancel"
2."Continue Restore"
3."Delete Backup"
I have tried to continue to restore 3 times now and this message comes up everytime. Whats wrong?

Tell it set it up as new, do not restore backup data (this is different from the restore button itself)

After, point it back at your music and sync it with itunes to put your music and apps back on
