Restore on 11.3

I’m thinking about doing a restore on 11.3 and seeing what apps I need and adding them as I go. I seem to hoard apps. Anyone thinking of doing this?

Does it make the phone feel snappier to do that w a new software update?

Restoring in itself will make the device snappier regardless of how many apps you have installed.
I have 154 apps installed and my phone still is snappy as I first got it.

I usually do a full restore on new versions ie. 10.0 - 11.0 or when I upgrade to a new iPhone.
