Restore 4.1 3gs problems

Hello

I have a 3gs running 4.1.. I want to restore my software and re jailbreak. I have downloaded a 4.1.ispw file and when i restore using that.. (having tinyumbrella open and TSS server running) my phone goes to the picture with the usb arrow into iTunes. And on iTunes and error pops up saying " The iPhone could not be restored . An unknown error occured (1604)...

Does anyone have a solution to this???

This problem often occurs when you are trying to restore to a firmware that Apple has stopped signing.After a little google research,this is what i came up with.If you have shsh blobs saved,I don't a reason why you can't restore :S

Yeah, I have it saved.. why dont it work

In TU, click on he device you are trying to restore, and in the middle box, is 4.1 listed? If yes, try a different USB cable, USB port and disable security programs. If that still fails, try editing host file instead of using TU TSS. After all that and you still have issues, try a different computer.
