Re: IOS 13.2 or a CarPlay issue?
Well, I am sure you must have tried re-pairing it or restarting iPhone and your car system.
Here are a few things that I came to know about:
• Check the restriction settings on your iPhone. It is possible that you are having this issue due to the iPhone’s restriction setting that blocks any future-based or existing methods disable the USB data connection after some time.
• Go to settings and look for Touch ID & Passcode of Face ID & Passcode. Look for the section Allow Access When Locked. Select USB Accessories. If you find the option turned off, that means the Restricted mode is enabled. Toggle on the USB accessories to disable the restricted mode completely.
• Check your cable compatibility as well. It could be one of the issues for the CarPlay issues.
• Your last resort is to downgrade to iOS 12/iOS 13.1 if none of the methods above seem to work out for you. If your CarPlay refuses to work with the new update, it could be indicative of system issues. It is better if you go back to the previous iOS version. And it is important that you get the IPSW file for it.
Here’s how:
Go to
https://ipsw.me/ and select “iPhone” from the tabs, select the iPhone model. Choose the iOS 12/13.1 version for downgrading and hit the “Download” option.
