[RESOLVED]Did Apple remove the option to open links in a new tabs in iPadOS?

Hi everyone,

I don’t get the option to open links in a new tab anymore. Why did Apple remove this?

Yeah, it’s strange that the option is still there in iOS, but not in iPadOS. I wonder if it’s just an oversight.

Then again, selecting the “Open in Background” option open the link in a new tab.

“Open in Background” works! Thank you! I also found that you can tapa link with two fingers, but it doesn’t feel comfortable.

Open in Background is an improvement for me. Now I can finish what I was reading before looking at the next link.
