Dropped off my MacBook Pro at the Apple store for repair at the regional repair center. After they took the machine to the back, I started talking to the Genius about some problems I was having with my iPhone. He then gave me a replacement :) I couldn't wait the week to get me machine back to sync up the phone so I manually downloaded most of the apps I had on the phone (all free ones). Got my computer back today and the new phone will not sync the apps. I keep getting this message:

Some of the purchased items on the iPhone 'justin's iPhone" could not be transferred to your iTunes library because you are not authorized to play them on this computer. To authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store, choose Store>Authorize Computer.

My machine already shows as authorized so I'm not sure what the problem is???

How to authorize a computer

It's telling you that your machine hasn't been registered with your iTunes account. Open up iTunes (the iPhone doesn't need to be connected), click on the sub-menu "store" (I use a PC so it's at the top of the window), and when the drop-down menu appears, click "Authorize computer". You'll need to log in to your iTunes account with your Apple ID and password, then you should be away. I think you can authorize something like 5 computers per iTunes account.

Hope this helps!!
