Remove from Recents in iOS 12

Hey all, does anyone know if the “Remove from Recents” option was remove in iOS 12? I have a number that I deleted from my contacts .... and she texted me and her name popped back up in my iMessages list. I need to remove her from recents so it’s not cached there anymore, but don’t see the option when clicking into the contact and the”i”. Anyone know how to remove recents in latest iOS?

Do you mean she still shows in the iMessage Contacts menu list, or the recents list in the text field?
