Reminder App Stuck/Frozen

For some reason the Reminder app on my iPhone 4S is stuck and I cannot get it to do anything for some reason. I have held down the power button and home button to reset it and the problem still exist when I try to hit the + sign to new reminders or anything nothing happens at all. This is what it looks like when open and I can't do anything with it

Connect to iTunes... back-up the phone... restore the iOS... then restore the back-up, and sync to iTunes.

Have you tried to set a reminder using Siri? Does that work?

I have the opposite issue with Reminders occasionally - it all of sudden closes on me.

That's what I did twice and for some reason this is the same outcome

Tried that too and it tells me it can't set the reminder

Hmmm... that's strange... maybe it's time for a visit to the Apple store (if you have one in your area).
