Regarding App Store - 2g

I recently purchased a 2g iphone for my dad to use on his T-Mobile network.

Everything seems to work, except he does not have the app store on his phone. I stopped by a local apple store, and the associate told me that the 2g never came with app store, and will need to be downloaded separately from I-Tunes.

I searched I-Tunes, but cannot find anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

Open and and check for updates you will have to unloxkit again to work with t mobile.

I didn't do the original unlock. Is it easy? Do i need to buy something?
