Earlier today I ordered a refurbished 5th generation iPod for one of the grandkids. I just got a shipping notice that said it was being shipped from China. I did not expect that. I?m not sure where I thought they came from, but I was really surprised to see it ship from SHENZHEN, CN.

My co-worker said her refurbished Mac mini was shipping from China. This was about 6 months ago before I moved to my new job.
If I had to guess, I'd say it would be the same factory that created them that would be the one to put them though the refurbish process.
They probably send the refurbished units back but your iPod was still in the factory perhaps?
That's just what I'd think anyways.
