"If" I was looking to buy a refurbished iPhone, I would only want to purchase it from Apple, so that I could get Apple's "standard one-year limited warranty", and, purchase Apple Care for the phone.

Me too Annie. I believe there are AppleCare options on some Refurb Store purchases too.
