I have a serious question on the maps on my iPhone. I believe it’s true but I want confirmation please. If I was to type in a letter in the search bar and various address and places pop up with a “RED” pin/marker next to them. Do those places represent places that I have searched or visited? This is a very important question and I hope that I have explained myself clearly. Thanks

Some, but not all. For example, if I start entering the name of one of my brothers, not only does his name appear, but also a host of places I’ve never even heard of and they all have a red pin next to them.

Those red dots are places that contain/ start with the letters you already typed.
Places that you have previously visited are stated clearly.
