Recently Added Photos

[iMore Question]

I downloaded iOS 8 yesterday and then saved pictures sent to me via messenger. On opening up photos my new pictures were not in my camera roll. On reading I see I should have a 'recently added' folder now. The 'recently added' album is not showing yet camera roll still is. Now what do I do.

If IOS 8 was successfully installed, I would try a reset to see if that clears things up.
