Recent email contacts

Hi
On my iPhone, I have deleted a contact from my email accounts and deleted the address from the ‘recents’ by clicking on ‘remove from recents’. Despite this, every so often (months) the email address pops back up in my predictive email address and within my recents. Can someone give me an explanation as to why this might happen and also how I can stop this?

Sync the device with iTunes. That *should* take care of the problem.

If it is synced with your email on iPad or computer it has to be removed there also or will not be completely removed .
