I've had my 6S Plus for about a month now but today for some reason my battery is rapidly draining. I'm down to 69% after about an hour off the charger! Normally, I'm still in the 90s at this time of the day. Nothing new, connected to wifi and my Apple Watch via Bluetooth. Has this happened to any other 6S Plus users and how do I stop it? I even went as far as to turning off location services which I never have had to do before and it's draining!

Photos app is just draining my battery. I do have iCloud photo on but this has never happened before and I not have any new pictures/videos that aren't already on iCloud

I would turn iCloud Photos and Photo Stream off and see if that helps, but you may have a defective battery. Definitely bring it to Apple and see what they say.

Had my 6s Plus since September 25th and never saw photos in the background. Do as avt123 says and monitor it. Take it to the Genius Bar.

Thank you all for the quick replies. I am going to drain it to 0 and recharge to 100 to see if that helps. If not, off to the Apple Store. Thankfully, I have two of them within 20 minutes of me.
