Random Vibration of Iphone 3g

Hi Iphoners!

I am having problems with my IPhone

My Iphone randomly vibrating every few seconds.
On the screen you see the sound on and sound off indicator switching back and forth with each random vibration. After the phone is reset, it will stop this for a while but will begin vibrating intermittently again.

Between this glitch and your post about the proximity sensor not working to shut off your screen during calls I would say a trip to the apple store is in order.

Yup, does not sound like this is a problem that will be fixed at home... Is the silent switch still on your phone? What happens when you actually flip the switch?
