RAM in Mini Retina vs IPad Air, cause for concern?

I'm just wondering, if the Air has 1gb of Ram, will 512mb be sufficient for the mini retina? I'm a little concerned... About switching from app to app without it having to constantly refresh apps. Anyone else?

You can bet on one gb of RAM. It's also been somewhat confirmed already although we'll have to wait til the reviews later in Nov. Plus it just makes sense. Apple already said the Mini Retina had the same internals.

Walt Mossberg was on CNBC today & said the iPad Air & the Retina Mini are exactly alike except for size (& price of course).
So if that is not the case, don't blame me. Just passion it along.

According to the info on Step 15 of the iFixit tear down, "Within the A7 package is Elpida F8164A1PD 1 GB LPDDR3 DRAM"
