To everybody who receive their watches how is the raised to wake function?

Does it wake at random times when swinging arms?

It does, especially when I'm eating.

That said, now that I'm not syncing apps to it, battery isn't bad.

I was driving and every time I turned the wheel, I noticed the display would come on.
There is supposed to be a way to turn this off. I haven't found that option yet, either.

In the Settings app from the big screen with the tiny bubbles on the watch, in General, then Activate on Wrist Raise.

It's too sensitive. I've killed it, it'll stop killing my battery.

It's definitely too sensitive, and I wish they'd add the ability to adjust sensitivity at some point, but I'm not turning it off yet. Don't want to have to push a button to check the time.

Was too much on the battery when driving or eating.

A screen tap wakes it up too. But I understand, the watch waking itself up is cool.
