R sim 7 on iPhone 4S

Hi gd day I'm from the Caribbean and I got hold of an iPhone 4s from VERIZON would like to get it unlocked to use locally but the price to do so is extremely high. I was told to use the r sim 7 which would unlock it and I would b able to use it on our gsm network I would like to know if I use it would i be able to upgrade my phone when an upgrade is released and would i be able to run Cydia on it . Please help

Whether or not you're able to upgrade (I'm assuming you mean iOS upgrade), I don't see why not. In regard to Cydia, I can only assume that if there is a jailbreak for the iOS version you have on it or will have on it you will be able to run Cydia on it. My devices aren't jailbroken so hopefully, someone who well-informed in regard to jailbreaking will chime in.
