Quick backup question - Jailbreak + Texts

Hey all, I've been a long time reader, but this is actually my first post.

My question is, is there a way to back up texts when you jailbreak? Using iFile, or a secure connection, I'm assuming I should be able to find the text logs. I have a couple of contacts that I would like to back up before I restore my phone to factory and start over before I jailbreak again.
