Hey there gang... 1st post here. I'm thinking seriously of getting an iPhone 3gs. I've been using a BB 8330 for a couple of years now and really like the BB. Problem is, Verizon, my current carrier has very bad coverage at my house. I need to go upstairs or outside to make sure I don't drop calls. My wife has AT&T through work and has no problems.

So... I really like the iPhone, would have AT&T and better coverage... really a no brainer.

Question is this: On my BB I installed a 8g chip. It's only good for storage; photos, vids, music etc. Apps can't go on the chip. I'm sure you all know this...

When I get a iPhone, if I get a 32g phone, can the Apps load into that memory or is that 32g just for storage like my BB???? The salesman at AT&T said yes, I just don't trust salesmen... ;) Oh, and any salesmen out there don't get your panties in a knot... I'm a salesman as well.

TIA

Cheers!

The 32GB on the iPhone is your total storage for EVERYTHING, from Apps, to movies to music.

I have a few hundred pictures, a few videos ( filmed from the phone ) and a lot of apps. I don't use my iPhone for music and I have 23.58GB free ( out of 32GB ), the bulk of that is being used by 2 GPS applications that install maps. My apps are taking up 4.36GB.
