Question about iphone 4 battery

Hi, so when I got my iPhone 4 yesterday it was under 20% today for its next charge should I let it drain all the way to maintain better battery life or should I just charge it as normal? If there is a thread with more on battery life if you wouldn't mind directing me their..thanks!

You should not let Lithium Ion batteries go flat on a regular basis.

I know that im just asking for the first time...doesn't the battery develop a memory or something?

Li batteries do not have any memory effect - neither do NiMH. NiCDs do, but no one's used those in phones for probably 15 years.

Running Li batteries down flat will damage them, as someone else mentioned...
