problems with sending and receiving email on iPad air

suddenly this morning my virtually new iPad air won't send or receive emails

Has your password changed lately? If not reboot your device and make sure you have a good connection to wifi or cellular. Mine acts crazy sometimes on my rMini but its usually wifi or cellular related

If none of the advice provided works, Delete the email acct and restart your device, Then reconfigure the email acct. That should do it.
