Has anyone ever had a problem with your Iphone not backing up. I have the latest itunes. iphone will sync but not back up data. Tried restarting my mac. Jailed broke my iphone 3g to 3.0. everything else works great. Confused and fustrated.

Problems with backing up Iphone.

In my experience, this has only happened to me when I haven't had individual things ticked to sync. Eg. there is the main Sync button on the main iTunes window, but at the time I didn't have the individual tab ticked (eg Music, Outlook Calander or Apps) and they didn't sync.
Once I realised what it was, I went into the tabs & ticked what I wanted, and it worked.
