Problem getting text msgs on iphone 5s was out of the country

Reviving texts problem iphone 5s?
I was out of the country, could not revive texting (blue sometimes I have an iphone 5s) Now I am back home at only got 3 msgs will they rest come through or could they have been lost in translation? Or are those the only texts I revived when I was gone? Does it take a couple of days? I've been back home for a day now.

I don't know. iMessages should come through once connected to the Internet, but I'm not sure with regard to SMS messages. You may have to get with your service provider about it.
