I've been using Windows laptops my whole life and have always been a Windows fanboy. But now i'm thinking about moving over to Macbooks. What would you Guys prefer. The Air or Pro version for a student?

This topic has been covered infinite times here. It all comes down to your personal needs, saying you are a student is very generic since not two students have the same needs or hobbies or taste. Keep in mind that MBA is the lightest of them and has the best battery life out there. MBP has two models the retina and the non retina in 13" and 15" and they differ a lot, but both are very powerful machines.
Coming from windows myself not so long ago and having tried both laptops, I'm sure that either one you choose, you will love it!! Good luck!
