The rumor mill is very busy. There are many stories that the prices will be higher... then there are newer stories that might not be the case. The leaks and the rumors drive me insane!

Tbh that’s pretty unreasonable and unrealistic at this point.

The last time apple raised prices was with the introduction of the Xs max at $1099, 5 years ago.

The smaller pro model last had a price increase in 2017 with the introduction of the iPhone X at $999, 6 years ago.

A 5-6 year price freeze was pretty incredible, however completely unrealistic and improbable moving forward.

Yeah, I don’t expect the iPhone 15 Pro to keep the current price of $1399 (plus tax).

Especially that year over year inflation has been around 3.3% (July 2023 numbers), so either Apple would need to eat into their profit margin (unlikely) or raise prices. I did lookup my iPhone 11 Pro’s purchase price, and they already Increased the price by $20 since 2019; but I cannot recall exactly when.

Is this Europe somewhere that it starts at $1399?

I’d personally be fine with the Pro being $100 more if it starts at 256gb. I’d still 128 probably not so much.

This is the Canadian price.

Europe doesn’t use dollars, most of it uses euros (€). Some other countries use pounds (£), krona (Kr.), but not dollars.

We will know soon enough but whatever it is I will purchase something next week new or used depends on the pricing.

So… a $50 increase for the 15 Pro, which is okay.

For the 15 Pro Max, it’s a whopping 200$.

I’m picking it up tomorrow, and trading in my 11 Pro. I couldn’t say no to almost $300 cash back.

I hear ya. With that being said, let us know how you like it when you get it all set up to your liking sir.

Where did you pay that price ?
Apple Store in Québec, Canada.

On top of the regular price (subtotal), add 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST), then add 9.975% Provincial Sales Tax (PST/QST) on top of that, and you get $2010.
I considered the closest one in Ontario; it would have been $40 less in taxes, but it would cost me $40 in travel.
