Price drops with new Ipads?

Assuming that Apple releases Ipad Pro 2 during WWDC at June 5th, will that result in price drops over his predecessor?

I am considering buying one next week and I simply don't know what to do.
I am not sure whether the prices will drop after the announcement or 2 months later with arrival of the new products in the stores.

It's like with any other company. As soon as the newest model is introduced, companies lower the price of the model to be replaced so that it can quickly sell to make room for when the newer model arrive. The price will definitely drop when the newest devices go on sale. Anyway, to answer your question, it depends on the retailer.
