Prepaid Sim for Cellular at Sea?

If I have my iPhone unlocked, is there any way to get around the $2.49/minute that Cell at Sea charges me through AT&T? I'm going to be on a Carnival cruise ship in February stopping in Grand Cayman and Jamaica.

Nope, cause when you cruise, your only cellular connection is through the ship's provider "Cell at Sea." It's like going to another country where AT&T doesn't exist and you have to roam...and pay ultra high prices...cause the locals don't offer pay as you go.
